Best way to remove lamination from paper.
Remove the underlying paper backing and or adhesive.
Start by making a slit in the lamination and peel the edges off from the paper you were working on.
Just lay the paper you want to laminate down on a flat surface peal off the protective paper from the contact paper and lay the material directly on top your document.
If the item is very large cut the raised laminate with a sharp knife and remove it to keep the area more manageable.
Place the wet rag on the area you want to remove.
I learned this lesson the hard way near the sides.
Turn your document over and place another sheet of cut out contact paper on the back of your document.
The steam is not forgiving.
Also be careful around areas where you do not want the veneer removed.
I would suggest protecting those areas with dry rag.
